VOWELS

I am most proud to see children from different background, ethnic and age passionately learning the Hmong language. Although my experience has not been long, these fascinating children has taught me to appreciate and preserve this beautiful language, for it is not only a language but a whole entire culture that is rich and exquisite on it's own. It was not to my surprise that the kids were reading and writing at an impressive pace through songs, chants, rhymes and games. But what's worth acknowledging was how engaged and attracted they were to the culture and history that lies within the language. Having the honor to teach these children has shown me that the Hmong language is unique; it carries our history, past, present and future within it. Also, the language is most beautiful because of all those who warmly embrace, preserve, and teach it.
